Camp Supernow
In the face of the global pandemic, we launched Camp Supernow in May 2020. Our goal was to design an experience that elicited the joy, community and learning opportunities of traditional summer camp but could be delivered through virtual “cabins” and assemblies.
My primary role was developing and rolling out the holistic camp experience for kids and parents. This included developing a fun and engaging curriculum, writing over 200 cabin adventure scripts scripts and creating instructor materials for each session. I hired and trained a staff of over 30 actors to serve as our Super Counselors and managed their ongoing development. I seeded community for the thousands of kids who experienced Camp Supernow and the Super Counselors who made it magical.
I developed the initial brand, visual identity and website for Supernow and executed the brand across all marketing touchpoints from social media to engagement emails.
The first Camp Supernow summer was a resounding success. We maintained an NPS score of 85, did over $75,000 in our first month of business and by the end of the summer raised $1mm in pre-seed funding. Most importantly, we created a safe and joyful refuge for kids and performers alike during a time of fear and uncertainty.
